BASIC APPROACH
(Note: This textbook was published by our college division for use by students at post-secondary institutions whose writing skills are below the level needed to succeed in college English. Please review this text carefully to ensure appropriateness of content for your students.)
The second in a new 3-book series, Effective Vocabulary builds a college-level vocabulary to prepare students for studies within academic the various disciplines and everyday situations.
This skills-based series provides plentiful exercises requiring students to explore words through context clues, word analysis, proper usage, and application so that the chapters are associative, comprehensive, and generative.
