Student at Computer

To help students apply the math in this chapter to real-life applications, we've included two Internet activities. Students will write and solve equations to help them make a budget for an item they wish to purchase. They will write an equation for the relationship between the number of students at your school and their daily water usage.

These teaching notes can be printed for quick referencing.
