Each lab activity provides enrichment for the math concepts taught in the new Algebra and Advanced Algebra: Tools for a Changing World ©1998 textbooks. A correlation of the lab activities and the student edition lessons appears in the Calculator-Based Laboratory Activities booklet.

How To Download

If you have a Windows web browser:
Just CLICK on the file name for your calculator and your computer's platform.
  • If your browser displays the file (lots of programming code) Select "File" then "Save As" from your browser's menu, then follow the instructions in the next bullet.
  • If your browser automatically displays a "Save As" window… Select the directory on your hard drive where you want to save the file (probably "C:\WINLINK\"), and select "Save."
You can now use Graph Link to SEND, PRINT, or OPEN the program file (please note that you cannot OPEN a group file). See the Graph Link page for more information and free software download.

If you have a Macintosh web browser:
Just CLICK on the file name for your calculator and your computer's platform.
  • If your browser displays the file (lots of programming code) Select "File" then "Save As" from your browser's menu, then follow the instructions in the next bullet.
  • If your browser automatically displays a "Save File" window… Select or create a folder on your hard drive where you want to save the file (probably "TI-Graph Link"), and select "Save." Your browser should automatically decode the Binhex file format. If it does not, the file name will have an "hqx" extension, and you will need to decode it from Binhex format using a utility such as Stuffit Expander™.
You can now use Graph Link to SEND, PRINT, or OPEN the program file. See the Graph Link page for more information and free software download.

Prentice Hall offers you sample procedures from our Graphing Calculator Handbook, designed to support students using graphing calculators with Prentice Hall Algebra and Prentice Hall Advanced Algebra. Each procedure is written with specific keystrokes for use with Texas Instruments TI–81, TI–82, and TI–83 calculators.
