Susan Nanus

Susan Nanus has earned several prizes for her writing, including the Christopher Award in 1988. She was also part of a writing team nominated for an Academy Award in 1996 for their work on If These Walls Could Talk. She has written several plays, as well as the screenplay for the 1998 NBC miniseries A Will of Their Own. Nanus based the screenplay on the novel Daughters of the New World by Susan Richards Shreve. The novel documented the struggles of women through six generations of Shreve's family between the years 1884 and 1985. Nanus currently lives in Los Angeles, where she writes scripts for television and movies.
