William Trevor

William Trevor was born and educated in Ireland, but he moved to England after beginning his writing career. Set in both Ireland and England, his stories explore a wide variety of subjects and themes. Displaying a deep understanding of human nature, Trevor often portrays the seemingly pointless misunderstandings that develop between people and groups of people. Trevor has published numerous collections of short stories, including The Collected Stories of William Trevor.
