Dr. Catherine C. Linn

teacher photoDr. Catherine C. Linn chairs the English Department at Palm Springs High School, Palm Springs, California. A veteran educator, Dr. Linn teaches several Advanced Placement classes and several classes of students considered academically challenged. She is also a district-wide leader in staff development, in alignment of curricula with standards, in development of formative and summative assessments, and in strategic teaching.

Dr. Linn earned a B.A. degree in English and Philosophy from Immaculate Heart College, Los Angeles, and two M.A. degrees, one in English from the University of California, Los Angeles, and another in Behavioral Science from Azusa Pacific University. She also holds a Ph.D. degree in Developmental Psychology from Pacific States University.

In addition to pursuing a career in education, Dr. Linn maintained a private practice in psychotherapy for over 20 years. In this latter capacity, she conducted continuing education for mental health personnel throughout the continental United States, Western Europe, and the Middle East.
