What Are the AWSM Online Projects? AWSM Superlessons open with a real-life application and use that application as a theme. AWSM Online Projects build on this concept by providing projects that send students to collect data on the Internet which they then use to solve problems. Because students get their data from real Web pages, they know they are applying the theoretical knowledge they learned in the book to concrete problems.

How Do You Use the Projects? A project is broken into several sections, each with a problem or a set of problems that go with a particular part of the Superlesson. Each section is titled with the Superlesson and part to which it refers.

You may elect to give students sections of the AWSM Online Project as they finish given parts, or you may prefer to wait until the end of the Superlesson and then assign the entire Project. You can choose to assign the entire online project or just sections of it.
