Corrections for Science Explorer/Life Science ©2001

As part of its Open Book Initiative, Pearson Education has established an Internet-based communication policy that alerts educators to any factual or typographical errors or areas of possible misunderstanding in its school programs. We organized the corrections by category:

  • Corrections of factual errors
  • Corrections of typographical or grammatical errors
  • Changes for clarification, where the original wording or art could be improved to support student understanding
Publishers typically reprint books several times over the life of a copyright. Corrections can be made in each printing. Thus, depending on which printing of Science Explorer/Life Science you have, these corrections may already appear in your textbook.
