in Chemistry:
- This site from the Duke University Department of Chemistry
has links to lots of information on careers for those interested
in chemical processes. You'll be surprised at the many fields
in which a knowledge of chemistry can be put to use, including
research, biotechnology, library science, education, and law.

is Toxicology?
- If you are interested in both chemistry and biology, this
might be the field for you. Toxicologists study the effects of
chemical poisons on living systems. This site will familiarize
you with the field and provide you with links to other toxicology
sites.

- Pharmacology
and Toxicology as Careers:
- There's information here on both fields because the requirements
and job opportunities are similar. Both fields require strong
chemistry and biology skills and may be carried out in research,
industrial, clinical, or regulatory institutions.

- The United States Department of Labor provides a detailed overview of the nature of the work, working conditions, training, earnings, and other things you need to know about pursuing a career in the biological or medical sciences.
