Restore America's Estuaries
This is the site of a coalition of organizations that have united to stop the loss of coastal wetlands and restore habitat in those that have been damaged. Visit this site to learn about the importance of estuaries, the threats they face, the ongoing efforts to restore them, and if any organizations in your area are participating.

The Nature Conservancy
Visit this site to learn about the organization's biodiversity protection and habitat restoration projects in the United States and around the world. You can search the site for references to "habitat restoration" or select "where we work" to find out about Nature Conservancy Preserves near you.

Governmenet Agencies

Texas Society for Ecological Restoration
The society explains what ecological restoration is, describes what's happening in Texas, and provides links to other restoration sites.

Great Lakes EcoPage
This Environmental Protection Agency page provides information about the ecology of the Great Lakes, habitat restoration that is underway in the Great Lakes region, and the ways in which the public can help.

The Chesapeake Bay Program Home Page
