CAREER RESOURCES

Division of Invertebrate Zoology Information Exchange
There are a lot of links here. You can link to professional associations for scientists who study invertebrates, to field stations where research on invertebrates is underway, and to a section with biographies of famous invertebrate zoologists.

Careers in Parasitology
This site provides information from the American Society of Parasitologists about the diverse opportunities in this field. As the site points out, there's plenty to study, including medical parasitology, veterinary parasitology, wildlife and fisheries parasitology, and much more.

Discover Entomology
This University of Kentucky site describes some of the reasons to study insects--to help feed the world, to preserve biological diversity, and to prevent the spread of disease, among others. The site also explains the preparation required to embark on an entomological career.

American Board of Forensic Entomology
At this site you can learn about how forensic entomologists use their scientific knowledge of insects to help solve crimes. This is certainly one of the most unusual career sites on the Internet.
