How Many Calories Do You Use?
Chapter 30: Digestive and Excretory Systems
Any activity you perform burns a certain number of Calories. Some types of activities use more Calories than other types. Study the data in the Calorie table. Analyze your daily activities and create your own table. Your table should have three columns: one listing your daily activities, one listing the estimated amount of time you spend doing the activity, and one for the total number of Calories used for that activity.

- Which of your activities used the fewest Calories?
- How many total Calories do you use in an average 24-hour period?
- Based on the data in your table, do you think you get enough exercise? Explain.
