Online Product, Class, and Student Management
Follow these simple instructions to add interactive textbooks, add classes, change student or roster information, and replace User IDs with student names. A teacher or student needs to register once only for PH SuccessNet. Adding interactive textbooks or classes is easy. See below.
Teachers add interactive textbooks
- Go to www.phsuccessnet.com.
- Log in by entering your User ID and Password, then clicking "Log In."
- Click My Profile
- Click Register Product
- Click Add A Product
- Put in the Registration Code for the next product and follow the on-screen instructions.
Teachers add classes
- Go to www.phsuccessnet.com.
- Log in by entering your User ID and Password, then clicking "Log In."
- Click the "create a class" link under the My Classes section at the bottom right of the page. Select your program title (i.e. Science Explorer, Writing And Grammar, etc.) in the left-hand column labeled Bookcase
- Follow the on-screen instructions to create a class and class name (e.g., 1st Period 8th Grade). Be sure to print the Student Registration Form. You can add students to this class at any time simply by providing the new student with a Student Registration Form. You can find the Student Registration Form in the Class Information section of Class Details.
Teachers change class details
- Go to www.phsuccessnet.com.
- Log in by entering your User ID and Password, then clicking "Log In."
- Click My Classes and select the class to which you would like to make changes.
- Click Class Details. Here you can edit class details such as class start/end date, change student roster information, change the online textbook used by that class or manage the class notice board.
Teachers change student or roster information
- Go to www.phsuccessnet.com.
- Log in by entering your User ID and Password, then clicking "Log In"
- Click My Classes and select the class to which you would like to make changes
- Click Class Details
- Click the Edit Class Roster link or scroll down to the Class Roster section. Here you can change names or passwords for all students or one student at a time.
- This is where a teacher would replace student User IDs with student names. These names will not appear until the teacher enters them.
Teachers view student reports and notes
- Go to www.phsuccessnet.com.
- Log in by entering your User ID and Password, then clicking "Log In."
- Click My Classes and select the class to which you would like to see student reports. Next to the class name you will see Performance Overview. Click Performance Overview to see Student Notes, Activity Reports, e-rater and Performance Reports.
Teachers view student performance reports
- Go to www.phsuccessnet.com.
- Log in by entering your User ID and Password, then clicking "Log In."
- Click My Classes and select the class for which you would like to see student reports. Next to the class name you will see Performance Overview. Click Performance Overview to see Performance Reports.
- Click Performance Reports to see the detailed class and student reports for a variety of reports.
- You will see the Class Performance Report first. Here you see all student's performance at a glance. This report is color coded for ease of use. You can download this report by clicking the download button.
- You can click each test title to see the questions and correct answers for each item. You can click the percentage number below the test title to see item-by-item at a glance how each student performed.
- If you click a student's name, you will see a report for that student test by test with an overall percentage performance and the date that test was submitted. If you click on Assessment View, you will see the student performance for assessment questions that students take an infinite number of times. Assessments can be taken any number of times; test can only be taken once. The report shows the score, the date of the most recent submission, and the number of times that assessment was attempted.
Teachers view student notes
- Go to www.phsuccessnet.com.
- Log in by entering your User ID and Password, then clicking "Log In."
- Click My Classes and select the class for which you would like to see student reports. Next to the class name you will see Student Notes. Click Student Notes to see each student's notes.
- Select an individual student or select all to see all students' notes in a single screening.
- Select the chapter and then section. You'll then see the student notes at a glance.
Teachers view post a notice
- Go to www.phsuccessnet.com.
- Log in by entering your User ID and Password, then clicking "Log In."
- Click My Classes and select the class to which you would like to post a notice.
- Click Post a Notice. Enter a notice title. This title is what shows up on the Student Center Notice Board. Pick a start and an end date from the calendar, which determines how long the notice will appear on the Student Notice Board. Type or copy your notice into the notice box and follow the on-screen instructions to post. You can post as many notices as you like and even schedule these for the entire school year. Notices will not appear before or after the start and end date you select.
Students add classes
- Go to www.phsuccessnet.com.
- Log in by entering your User ID and Password and then clicking "Log In."
- Click My Profile
- Click Add a Class
- Add the additional Class Access Code and follow the on-screen instructions to add a class.
